Motherboard question for Delta 1010 LT users

After what must be at least 6 years of trouble-free recording, I had my first real problem with my DAW the other day: it died. What I first thought was a failed power supply turned out to be a cooked motherboard and that's all she wrote. Since it was still running Windows 2000 on a P4 1.8GHz, I promised myself that when the machine went I would upgrade as many things as I could afford to at that time and just go with that. The one thing that I don't think I need to change at all are my existing sound/recording cards - the Delta's work and sound fine for what I use them for and together - 16 in/out - fit perfectly into my existing mixer/hardware setup.

So with that said, can anyone who is also using these cards tell me what motherboard/CPU combinations you are using with good results, even if not the most current? The board that went was an Asus, but I'm not married to a brand here. I'll be running WinXP with n-Track studio at first, possibly Sonar down the line.
