Using Two Sound cards in one machine 

Just wondering if anyone can help with a littel tech question I have a PC with XP pro and a Delta 1010 also I have a echo Layla when i try to record using both cards at the same time they record at diffrent speeds I have time synced them together with a cable and by changing the settings i can get it to do recordings together at the same speed but not the right speed tips or suggestions would be appreciated

do you mean to record at different sampling rates on 2 different cards but keep them in sync? I don't think that's possible. Why would you want to do this?

What do you mean "i can get it to do recordings together at the same speed but not the right speed".  Does it drift? too fast?  too slow?

What software are you using?  You'll need to make sure that the software is set up to use the correct card as the timing master.  For example, if the Layla is the word clock source, then the software needs to use the Layla as the timing master.
