One or more sound card does not support 24/96

I Have two delta 1010 that are both 24/96 capable but sonar keeps resetting the sample rate to 16/44.1 vary lame. anyone have any ideas the cakewalk website seems pretty useless on this issue  I'm so close to buying a mac but right now I have a screaming fast maching more than enough to do the work running win XP Pro all updates are current sonar is an older version 2.2

Thanks for your help!

Re: One or more sound card does not support 24/96

Start by troubleshooting with only one Delta.  Get it working correctly, then add the other one.

Ensure that your Delta is set up correctly in the control panel to record at the rate & depth that you want.

Then profile the soundcard in sonar.  Should work like a champ.

If this doesn't work, make a backup of your aud.ini file and then delete the original, and let Sonar get a fresh start at the aud.ini.

OBTW are you using ASIO or WDM?
